RESEARCH GROUPS
The research group has developed studies through various activities and meetings, with the participation of professors from national and international institutions. The group focused its investigations on Industry 4.0, which was also the central theme of the 2nd International Congress held in 2019. The research results were published in the book Challenges of Work in the 21st Century and New Technologies, released in 2020.

This group focuses on current issues and research in Social Security, General Social Security Regime (RGPS), the Working Environment, and the impact of reforms. Comparative studies are conducted with Italy and Spain. Monthly meetings (in-person and online) are held to discuss ongoing research, propose themes, and promote scientific production and publication. Several topics are submitted to Brazil’s Ministry of Economy Social Security Department as proposals for regulatory standards.

The group aims to raise critical awareness regarding the development of social human rights and their societal impact; to monitor and propose public policies aimed at the implementation and effectiveness of related rights; and to promote a culture of prevention and preservation of the working environment.

This group conducts studies on unionism and its associated entities. Over time, it will produce various seminars, symposia, and congresses, resulting in articles, collective and individual books, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations published both nationally and internationally. The outcomes will have regional and national repercussions, potentially influencing public policies and union practices, with the goal of improving collective labor relations in Brazil. The group also fosters meaningful exchange among researchers, professors, and authors from Brazil and abroad.
